The company now trades internationally as well as running a successful web and mail order service. The business has expanded to include shoes, beauty products, fragrances, books and jewellery.
In 2007, Corré and Rees were honoured in the Queen’s birthday list with an M.B.E. for services to fashion but Corré declined the award.
Fragrances
The first fragrance, released in 2000, was ‘Agent Provocateur’ and was a sensual, exotic combination of saffron, jasmine and vetivert. ‘Agent Provocateur Eau Emotionelle’ followed closely afterwards and the signature scent was adapted to be more delicate and fresh with notes of pink pepper and tea.
‘Maitresse’ is a much more indulgent perfume, using floral scents of ylang ylang, lotus petals and jasmine to create a seductive and indulgent fragrance. The limited edition ‘Maitresse Gold’ uses the same scent but contains real gold particles for the ultimate luxury, and creates a dazzling effect on the skin.
‘Agent Provocateur Strip’ also uses ylang ylang but is a sophisticated and creative scent combining geranium bourbon with notes of vetivert, amber and musk.
