Bvlgari Brand Profile
The first fragrance for Bvlgari, ‘Eau Parfumée’, was developed in Switzerland in 1992. Bvlgari continued to increase its business and in addition to its historic jewellery and timepieces, now also has a silk collection, a leather goods and eyewear collection and has opened hotels and resorts in partnership with Marriot Hotels.

Concepts

The Bvlgari brand is synonymous with luxury and their main philosophies of distinction, quality and excellence reflect their goal of perfection. Sotirio Bvlgari was originally influenced by the creativity of Greek and Roman culture, and this is still portrayed in the products.

Fragrances

The initial Eau Parfumée collection includes: ‘Eau Parfumée Au Thé Vert’, ‘Eau Parfumée Au Thé Blanc’ and ‘Eau Parfumée Au Thé Rouge’. The collection is designed to reflect grace and luxury and the sensual fragrances all inspired by, and include, different scents of tea.

The Bvlgari Classics product line has five sophisticated fragrances. ‘Bvlgari pour Femme’,'Rose Essentielle’ and ‘Voile de Jasmin’ are three delicate, sensual perfumes, based on feminine floral notes. The remaining two scents in the range are ‘Bvlgari pour Homme’ and ‘Bvlgari pour Homme Soir’ which are masculine, mature fragrances based on Darjeeling tea, amber and musk.

BLV is Bvlgari’s contemporary, experimental range that combines inventive and unusual scents such as ginger, vodka and dark chocolate, with the classic and popular scents of vanilla and sandalwood. The collection consists of: ‘BLV pour Femme’, ‘BLV pour Homme’, ‘BLV Notte pour Femme’ and ‘BLV Notte pour Homme’.

Bvlgari also has a product line with names inspired by gemstones that complement their jewellery collections. ‘Omnia Améthyste’, ‘Omnia Crystalline’ and ‘Omnia’ are creative and exotic perfumes that use fragrances such as bamboo, lotus blossom and grapefruit.

Two fragrances designed specifically for men are ‘Aqva pour Homme’ and ‘Aqva pour Homme Marine’ which are imaginative scents inspired by power; the notes used are aquatic plants and the fragrance is designed to be refreshing and clean.

The final two distinct scents are ‘Black’, a striking city scent that includes the aromas of rubber, resin, smoke and amber, and ‘Petits et Mamans’ which is a soft, nurturing range for mothers and children, designed for both to use and is based upon vanilla, with subtle scents of mandarin, peach and iris.
