Her first show was held in 1972 when she presented her first small collection of womens’ clothes. In those days nobody could have predicted that within a few short years her name would be synonymous with perfume, and that she would have gone on to become one of the leading manufacturers of fragrances of her generation..
Laura Biagiotti launched “Fiori Bianchi” in 1982 and this was followed by “Roma” six years later. “Venezia”, “Laura” and “Venezia Pastello” soon followed. The best loved of all the Biagiotti fragrances is still “Roma”, however. Its flagon depicting ancient Rome is designed as a miniature marble column. “Roma” perfume is minty and floral. Released in 1998, many still enjoy the distinctness of this fragrance. Good for all occasions, “Roma” continues to delight the senses of the modern woman.
The latest fragrance is “Laura Biagiotti Donna” which is modern, sensuous and feminine. This is a scent for a strong, self-confident woman. The flacon was created in cooperation with Peter Schmidt, a top German designer.
The House of Biagiotti not only makes an upmarket range of perfumes but also mens’ aftershaves. In 1999 Laura Biagiotti introduced “Tempore Llomo” for men, with its woody aroma – crisp and masculine with a hint of citrus.
