In 1992, she began with Donna Karan, a classic scent, which is now discontinued. In a bid to keep fresh and up to date, many of her earlier fragrances are no longer available, ensuring that she and her brand are always at the cutting edge of fashion and scent. One of her most popular contemporary fragrances is the DKNY Be Delicious range, renowned for its iconic half silver half coloured apple-shaped bottles. The image of an apple is juicy, fresh and young, but, it is the fruit of temptation, and this is conveyed not just in the packaging but in the scent itself; innocent but sexy.
An extension of this range is DKNY Red Delicious which is a more flirty development of the original DKNY Be Delicious, and it, again, comes in the apple bottle format. This was first launched in 2006, and its limited availability means it is a must-grab when available!
The final fragrance on offer is Delicious Night which is “inspired by the sexy buzz of New York City at night; electric, seductive, mesmerizing, mysterious.” And it most certainly is all of these things.
