In February 2008 Kate Moss presented a new edition of her first fragrance “Kate” named “Kate by Kate Moss Luxury Edition”. This fragrance is composed of magnolia, forget-me-not, patcholi, vanilla, white peach and musk. A mix of the risqué and elegant, infused with undertones of smoky rose and black, this complicated scent reflects the duality of Kate: the good and the bad Kate. This fragrance definitely has an old-English feel.
Kate Moss is well known for her ability to party throughout the night so it seems appropriate that Kate has looked to dusk for her second fragrance which she has named “Velvet Hour”.
“There’s that feeling – ‘Oh, night time’s coming again, thank goodness. It’s like a comfort. The whole feeling changes. The sun is going away. You can go out. It just feels more comforting to me. And it is like velvet,” she said at the recent launch event.
The fragrance will be on the market in September 2008. Sandalwood, incense, amber freesia, nutmeg and patchouli combine to make this innovative fragrance.
Kate Moss, in cooperation with Emilie Copperman, has built in black pepper and cashmere incense into the perfume which has nutmeg and patchouli at its heart. Sandalwood, ebony wood and amber form the base of this new fragrance.
Kate does not yet have her own official website but her products can be found on many perfume websites as well as clothing websites.
