Brand Profile…

Moschino Brand Profile
Its notes include coriander, carnation, gardenia, vanilla, nutmeg and amber. For an evening, this fragrance makes a glamorous addition to the wearer.

Following ‘Moschino’, ‘cheap & chic’ and ‘Oh! de Moschino’ came out in 1996. ‘Cheap and Chic’ is fresh and seemingly effortless in the way it playfully evolves once exposed to the air. A musky mist envelopes Olivia, Petigreen, Bergamot and White Orchid with bottom notes of vanilla and sandalwood. Hints of Heliotrope, Amber and Vetiver give this scent a mysterious character. Feminine, passionate and sensual, it can be worn in the evening to enhance a sophisticated style.

An exclamation expressed by ‘Oh!’ reveals its intense but light-hearted nature. Bursting with flavour, this floral and exciting scent contains top notes of rose and tangerine with heart notes of peony, lily of the valley, orris, stephanotis, lotus and water lily. A swift rush of heliotrope, sandalwood, may blossom and musk make up the base notes.

In 2007 ‘Funny’ by Moschino was released. Cheerful, sparkling and young best depict this floral and fruity sensation. Orange, pepper, violet, green tea and jasmine lift the mood with their carefree exuberance. Amber, cedar wood and musk provide a warm and sensual base for this feminine and cheeky scent. ‘Funny’ suggests vitality, life, spiciness and of course humour. It appears as though Moschino wants to remind us not to take life too seriously at times. This fragrance is most suitable for day time wear and is likely to spread its joy to whoever has the pleasure of smelling it.

Another popular fragrance by Moschino is ‘Moschino Couture’ which, as the name suggests, is elegant and stylish. Luxurious Mandarin and Bergamot make up the top notes followed by Jasmine, Pomegranate and poppy seed. The warmth of vanilla and cedar wood make up the base notes. Sparkling and warm this scent gives the impression of a sunny meadow full of woody yet colourful aromas.

‘I Love Love’ insinuates romanticism and affection. Introduced in 2005, this fragrance combines flowers and fruits for a sweet indulgence. Musk, Cedar and Tonka wood support lily of the valley, orange, redcurrant, lemon, cinnamon leaves, tea rose and grapefruit. Beautiful and natural this day time perfume exhibits a love for life with just a splash.

“UOMO” the men’s fragrance launched in 1997. Like the signature scent of Moschino, this fragrance is also oriental with woody undertones. It contains top notes of cinnamon, coriander and kumquat with middle notes of musk, cedar wood and sage. Base notes consist of sandalwood, amber and basil. Although this cologne is classy it can be used on a daily basis for casual purposes.

Besides a masculine version of ‘Moschino’ the label also released ‘Friends Men’ in 2005. Clean and fresh best describe this citrus fruit scent. However beside blood orange, tangerine and Bergamot it also contains cedar wood, Musk, Vertiver, Geranium and Petitgrain. Rather than giving off a masking effect or being heavily intoxicating, this scent appears crisp and natural as though the wearer just stepped out of the shower.

Moschino relies on fruits and flowers to create its colourful and unique fragrances. Powerful, beautiful and feminine they spread joy and warmth.
