Oscar de la Renta - So de la Renta & Volupte Fragrance Overview

So De La Renta

Volupte was released in 1992 and as the name suggests, is a thick, lush fragrance permeated by a myriad of fruits and flowers. Top notes are comprised of heliotrope, mimosa, jasmine, lily of the valley, melon, carnation and mandarin followed by amber and incense.

Despite being an evening perfume, Volupte is considered to be of the lighter variety; intoxicating, passionate, exotic yet soft, which is also truly feminine in nature..

Voluptue

In 1997, So de la Renta was created. Similarly to Volupte it also combines a mixture of flowers and fruits.

Besides wooden accords it also contains vanilla and gardenia. Because of its light and fresh nature, it is recommended for the daytime.

‘Review’ describes So de la Renta as sophisticated, seductive and bold. Widely popular, this timeless fragrance also makes a great gift!

More About The Fragrance House

Oscar de la Renta was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. This in turn led to most of his inspirations for fragrance and fashion to be derived from a vibrant, exotic surrounding. His travels to Spain and other Latin countries are also reflected in his perfumes. His first fragrance ‘Oscar’ was launched in 1977. Among the perfumes to follow belong Volupte, So de la Renta and Rosamor.

Oscar de la Renta also has a line of perfumes for him. These include Pour Lui and Oscar for men. Pour Lui is a woodsy, spicy fragrance and the classical Oscar for men has a leathery, musky and floral aroma.
